MENDOZA (5 Days, 4 Nights)

THE ANDES EXPERIENCE

The Andes Experience takes you to the heart of Mendoza’s wine country, rolling vineyards, Andean sunsets, and fresh mountain air. Stay in boutique family homes, enjoy farm-to-table meals, ride horses like a gaucho, and gather around fireside gatherings with local music as you unplug and reconnect with what matters.

  • Full-day Gaucho Experience

We’ll spend the day living the Argentine gaucho rhythm, starting with a local breakfast, riding horses into the mountains, sipping wine with Andes views, and closing with an open-air asado and music at sunset.

  • Vineyard Tour & Asado

At Montequieto, a small family vineyard in Agrelo, we’ll walk the vines, taste wine straight from the tanks, and end with a traditional asado cooked and shared outdoors with the family who runs it

  • Andes Trek & Picnic

We’ll hike the trails of Potrerillos, choosing between a 3- or 5-hour route through the Andes. Along the way, we’ll pause for a locally sourced picnic.

Our home base for the week

Nestled within Mendoza’s Uco Valley, we will call Tupungato our home. Our retreat unfolds across boutique, family-run homes on an estate at the foot of the Andes. The lodge’s intimate design blends rustic warmth with modern comfort: fireplaces, open-air kitchens, and secluded patios perfect for stargazing.

Our meals

Each meal at OffChain Mendoza is a celebration of the region’s rich culinary heritage. We partner with local farms and small-scale producers to bring you ingredients that are fresh, seasonal, and ethically sourced. Every dish is made exclusively for our group, cooked fresh on-site. Meals are shared family-style around communal tables, with wine, with phones set aside to deepen connection and presence. Whether it’s a slow fire-roasted asado under the stars or a nourishing midday meal in the Andes, our food is designed to ground you in the land and in the moment.

Light the fire, pour the wine, take in the view, and savor the moment together.

Live the Real Argentina

The Andes Experience is a deep breath of Argentina: sunrise mates, crisp mountain air, roaming animals, and long asados shared under open skies. Led by a family with deep roots in Mendoza, this is not regular tourism. It’s an invitation to experience the raw, grounded beauty of Argentina from within, slowly, simply, and surrounded by what truly matters: nature, music, good wine, and good people.

Expect mornings with animals and mountain views, long tables filled with homemade food and even better conversation, music drifting in the breeze, and quiet nights under the stars. This is Argentina in its purest form, its land, its rhythms, its soul, curated with care and offered with warmth.

A reminder of what life feels like when you return to presence, simplicity, and connection. An experience that stays with you long after the journey ends.

  • What does the itinerary look like?
The OffChain Mendoza retreat flows across five days, each crafted to balance movement, connection, and deep presence in nature. Here’s a look at how the experience unfolds:

    Day 0 – Arrival & City Immersion
Arrive in Mendoza in the morning. For early birds, we’ll kick things off with a light city tour, exploring plazas, historic landmarks like Cerro de la Gloria, and stories of the fiesta de la vendimia. In the afternoon, we travel together into the Andes and settle into our homes. Dinner is flexible this night depending on arrival times.

Day 1 – Gaucho Day & Firelight Welcome
We begin with a traditional homemade breakfast featuring regional pastries and flavors. The day unfolds with a hands-on gaucho experience, preparing horses and riding through the countryside. At midday, a fire-roasted asado awaits, followed by an evening fire circle and live folk music under the stars.

    Day 2 – Trekking & Slow Exploration
After breakfast, we travel to Potrerillos for a mountain trek, offering a 3-hour or 6-hour route depending on your flow. Mid-hike, we’ll pause for a shared picnic-style lunch with sweeping views. In the evening, we return to Los Coirones for a free night to rest, journal, or connect in smaller circles.

    Day 3 – Wine & Celebration
We begin the day with breakfast and then head into wine country for a visit to one or two curated bodegas. Expect tastings, storytelling, and a traditional lunch. In the evening, we gather at Las Palapas for a lakeside sunset celebration, music, connection, and a closing moment to remember.

    Day 4 – Integration & Farewell
A final breakfast at Los Coirones, followed by a slow morning of rest or exploration. The day is yours to integrate, pack, and prepare for the journey back, recharged and reconnected.
